The Practice Run Crayon Roll

The lovely ladies on the Sewing Thread on MSE have filled me with so much inspiration, I have a list of gifts I want to make for christmas the first being co-ordinating Crayon Rolls and drawstring bags (Thanks to Dizzytina for the idea).

I have bought my material ready but didn't want to chance messing it up so I practiced using some tea-towels, it's not perfect but I'm happy with it!

My First Proper Bit of Sewing

Well my Sewing Machine is nearly a year old, and I'm quite embarassed to say it's not had much use, I picked up some lovely material and have been meaning to make a bag for while! So I had the bright idea of making a start yesterday, for my first attempt I am thrilled to bits! It's really given me the bug now and I can't wait to start the next project!

More bracelets

I'm so happy to have built up a little supply of handmade bracelets, I am really enjoying making these, such a lovely way to unwind in the evening.

Christmas!

Well after my visit to the Range this morning and noticing all the Christmas craft has been put out, I thought what better time to make a start and have all the Christmas cards ready in time! I bought these peels off for £0.25 in the bargain section of the Range, I think I may add some pretty lace to the bottom to jazz it up a little, so it's work in progress but a start none the least!

Seed Card for my Nan

Thanks to the inspiration of the Ladies over on MSE, I made this little holder to hold a packet of seeds, I have to admit it was abit rushed but as always will learn from my mistakes.
